About this blog:
I started this blog on December 11, 2014, to use as my house on the internet. I use it to document memories, write and post about my memory keeping projects, my work life, and whatever else I damn well please. I know, blogs are supposed to have a pretty concrete theme and right now, it’s kind of a mish-mash of things but maybe I’ll find my niche as I go along. That’s my angle. Take it or leave it (but maybe leave a comment while you’re at it).
About me:
I suppose this is where I’m supposed to talk about myself. If you know me IRL, you know I can talk forever. But, when it comes to writing about myself, I guess I get a little shy. My name is Tina and this blog was partly inspired by Tracy‘s concept. If you know anything about Project Life, you probably have seen Tracy’s blog. Like her, I am unmarried (although engaged), but living with my fiance, mom, and my dog, Alfie, at our home in Tokyo, Japan (hence the name). My mom and I run a Montessori pre-school in our home which takes up most of time, but when I do get the chance, I love to craft. I like making albums, cards, projects and materials for the kids, etc. I believe everyone needs to take time out of their day to do something that makes their hearts sing. For me, even without kids of my own, I believe my simple life is worth documenting and I am so excited to look back 5, 10, 20 years down the line and see what life was at 28 years old.
